Guinea-Bissau covers an area of 36,120 km2, with 28,000 km2 of land and 8,120 km2 of sea. The main source of foreign currency is cashew nut exports, which account for 60 % of the country's income. Guinea-Bissau is the 3rd largest cashew nut producer in Africa, and 6th largest in the world, with annual production of 120,000 tonnes worth $60 million.
