Mauritius
Mauritius is 65 km long and 45 km wide, with a total surface area of around 1,864.8 km2. Its capital and largest city is Port Louis. The population estimate (at 31 December 2013) for the entire republic was 1,259,838, of which 623,472 were male and 636,366 female.
According to the IMF, the estimated GDP in 2014 was $12.025 billion, GNI per capita was $9,300, one of the highest in Africa.
