Rwanda
Rwanda extends over 26,338 km2 in the Great Lakes region. The capital, Kigali, is at an altitude of 1,400 metres, with much of the country above this level. Rwanda is the most densely populated country in continental Africa (430 inhabitants per km2 of arable land). The estimated total population in 2020 was 12,712,431 in habitants.
