Sudan

Sudan is located in North Africa, on the shores of the Red Sea, between Egypt and Eritrea. With a surface area of 1,886,068 km2, Sudan is the third largest country in Africa after Algeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo. In 2014, Sudan's population was estimated at around 35.5 million.
