"We need more intra-African trade". The 3rd edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2023) takes place from 21 to 27 November 2023 in Côte d'Ivoire. With 9 months to go before this annual event, which serves as a platform for African and global companies to access African markets, a press conference was held in Abidjan on 23 February. On the sidelines of the event, Emily Mburu Ndoria, Director of Investment, IPR and Digital Trade at the AfCFTA Secretariat, took part in Financial Afrik's question-and-answer session on the need for and added value of IATF in intra-African trade.
