PLS KAIZEN TRAINING FORUM: Conquering the Opportunities of an Integrated Africa: What Strategy(ies) for a Resilient and Prosperous African Private Sector?

In an effort to publicize and implement the AfCFTA Agreement across Côte d'Ivoire, the AfCFTA National Committee participated in the inaugural KAIZEN TRAINING PME Leaders Stratèges (PLS) Forum. The event took place from 4 to 5 July 2022 at the West African Monetary Union Distributed Pension and Savings Fund (CRRAE UMOA).

The theme of the forum, "Conquering the Opportunities of an Integrated Africa: What Strategy(ies) for a Resilient and Prosperous African Private Sector?" brought together participants from the public and private sectors, international organizations, institutions, experts, business leaders, and investors to discuss the opportunities provided by the AfCFTA in Côte d'Ivoire.

This high-level meeting aimed to enhance the framework for exchanges between internationally ambitious SMEs and private sector support structures, aligning with the international development opportunities created by the AfCFTA.

Recognizing the significance of this event for implementing the Agreement in Côte d'Ivoire, the Executive Secretariat of the AfCFTA-NC delivered a presentation. This presentation highlighted the various opportunities presented by the AfCFTA while addressing the challenges and critical issues associated with its implementation.
