As part of its ongoing information and awareness-raising roadshow on the AfCFTA, the National Committee was welcomed on 30 June 2021 by Daouda Diabaté, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and the Diaspora, representing Minister of State Kandia Camara. The meeting, attended by a distinguished group of Ivorian diplomats, underscored the ministry's dedication to the effective implementation of the Agreement establishing a single African market.
During the meeting, Diabaté reiterated the ministry’s commitment to the AfCFTA and highlighted that the economic integration offered by this agreement aligns with the vision of His Excellency President Alassane Ouattara. President Ouattara, an advocate of Agenda 2063, continues to champion the objective of a Unified Africa by 2063.
